About the Opprtunity:
As a member of the Shared Services group, the Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible for proactively coordinating new instrument sales orders in the scientific analytical instruments industry and providing superior customer service to our internal and external clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
New Instrument sales order processing, for multiple divisions within the organization.
Reviewing new Customer Purchase Orders and Contracts to ensure acceptable T&Cs.
Invoicing and order revision/credit-note processing.
Collaborate directly with overseas manufacturing and logistics teams, to ensure accurate order execution & delivery.
Provide customer order acknowledgments, status updates, and information in a timely professional manner.
Collaborate with Regional Sales Engineers to build professional relationships based on trust and respect.
Contribute to exceptional customer service and act as an extension of the US Sales team when sales and/or service engineers are not immediately available.
Handle incoming sales calls and correspondence; alerting reps and/or managers to urgent issues.
Develop a thorough understanding of the organizations industry and unique business goals and needs.
Provide support and cross-coverage to fellow team members to minimize department downtime.
Maintaining accurate customer records to ensure perpetual data integrity.
Coordinate internal resources across departments to ensure customers success, presenting the best customer experience possible and solidifying future growth in company accounts.
About YOU:
The right candidate will be able to work independently and within a team-driven environment, prioritize and manage time effectively, using good judgment and skill to complete tasks and effectively juggle competing priorities. Youu will have strong conflict resolution skills; able to follow escalation paths appropriately and address any issues as quickly as possible and able to manage change implementation within the organization positively and effectively. Effective verbal communication and active listening skills will be a must.
Additional Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in the technology, equipment manufacturing, or scientific instrumentation industry preferred. Minimum of associate degree or equivalent preferred. 3-5 years experience using Oracle/CRM/SAP/Sage/Saleslogix-based software. 3-5 years experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office. 3-5 years experience in customer service and relations.
